Conference: Women in Agriculture & Small Business
The Ouachita Mountains Resources Conservation and Development (RC&D) Council will host the 2018 Women in Agriculture and Small Business Conference July 20th at Eastern Oklahoma State College in McAlester, OK. The agriculture/small business presentations and networking opportunities will benefit landowners, investors and professionals from across the region.
There will be 10+ speakers from across the state presenting in dual concurring sessions on a wide variety of agriculture/small business related topics. Topics this year include timely subjects such as aquaponics, greenhouses, marketing, Annie’s Project, small business development, food modernization, new tax laws, oil & gas updates, Home Bakery Act, agritourism, and more.
The registration fee for the conference is $20, which includes lunch and the potential to win door prizes from conference sponsors. Seating is limited, so register early to make sure you can be a part of this dynamic learning opportunity.
