This year’s annual meeting of the Oklahoma Native Plant Society features Heather Holm, horticulturist, biologist, native bee researcher, writer, and publisher. She informs and educates about the fascinating world of native bees and the native plants that support them. Her first book, Pollinators of Native Plants, published in 2014, established her as a knowledgeable resource on the subject of interactions between native bees and native plants. Her second book, Bees: An Identification and Native Plant Forage Guide, published February 2017, expands on her base of exceptional information and knowledge.

Additional highlights of this year’s meeting include a botanizing trip to Horsethief Canyon, a banquet at the Oklahoma Botanic Garden, and a silent auction.

For more information or to register, visit the meeting website, or contact Joe Roberts by email or phone (405-820-6851).
