Livestock Conservancy Microgrants (application deadline)

August 15

livestock conservancy microgrants deadline

August 15 is the deadline for applications to the 2024-25 round of Microgrants from the Livestock Conservancy.

These grants of up to $2,000 are awarded for a variety of farm-related operations, including, but not limited to, livestock, poultry, infrastructure, processing equipment or services, milk, meat, wool and egg production and sales, agritourism, promotions and marketing. Applications will be accepted through August 15, 2024 with judging completed in autumn. Winners will be notified in late 2024 and awards will be publicly announced in January 2025.

There are three categories of Microgrants: National Microgrants open to residents and organizations of the U.S. who are actively working with livestock and poultry breeds listed on the Conservation Priority List; Youth Microgrants, which fund projects for applicants ages 12-18; and Breed Association Microgrants, to U.S-based associations and clubs working with breeds listed on The Livestock Conservancy’s CPL. Funds are intended to help associations and clubs improve services for their membership and conservation of their breeds.

For more information or to apply, visit the Microgrants webpage, or contact Jeannette Beranger by email or phone (919-542-5704).
