Seed Savers Exchange’s Seed Rematriation webinar series highlights Seed Rematriation partnerships funded through a North Central SARE Partnership grant in conjunction with Seed Savers Exchange. Join to learn how Indigenous farmers, activists, communities, and nations are welcoming seeds home to grow and share.
Seed rematriation addresses the desire for Indigenous communities to actively reclaim their ancestral seeds and traditions. Moderated by Shelley Buffalo, this session features panelists Shiloh Maples and Rosebud Bear-Scheider sharing information on
*their experience with the rematriation process,
*regional variation/northern climate growing,
*Indigenous Seed Keepers Network initiatives, and
*ways this partnership could be modeled for others looking to engage in this work.
Space for the live event is limited, but this session will be recorded and made available on-demand to everyone who registers.
