Field Notes – March 2015
Spring is bursting at the seams, and so is the Kerr Center’s lineup of educational events. On May 9, find out how plastic mulch can help you give your crops a head start and keep down weeds – and how the state can help! Then, learn how to plant with pollinators in mind at a June 6 workshop. June also brings a twilight tour of the Cannon Horticulture Plots (11th) and a workshop on pasture plant identification (25th). As summer’s heat and dryness crank up, see how we keep livestock watered all over the ranch at an evening workshop on July 11.
For all events that require it, registration is available via the Kerr Center’s online events calendar. Pay electronically there with a credit card or PayPal, or download a registration form and send a check in the mail.
Don’t forget that you can also use our online calendar to keep yourself and your friends up to date on these and other upcoming events, including our our tours. Please also consider supporting our work!Field Notes – March 2015 (pdf, 2 MB)
